Claudio and Virginia has been working together for a short time, the video above are with her former partner Christian.  COMING TO EUGENE  FEBRUARY 25,26, 27, 28- 2015 VIRGINIA WAS IN Eugene IN 2008 performing at the Hult Center and then in 2009 teaching our tango community with  her former partner. She will be coming with her new partner.   CLAUDIO & VIRGINIA   TEACHING AND PERFORMING IN EUGENE    A PRESENTATION TO DELIGHT YOUR SENSES  & IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS TO DANCE SOCIALLY  schedule     Master Classes  FRIDAY: February 26-  5:30-7:00 “BE A WALKER, A MASTER WALKER…BUT DO NOT DO IT ALONE!“/THE FUNDAMENTALS AND THE WALK (Recommended to all levels) It is essential to have the fundamentals in place to dance TANGO.  Sync the connection with your partner together with the music while walking in multiple directions and pattern combinations.  FRIDAY:  7:15- 8:45 “THE RHYTHM OF YOUR SOUL” / MUSICALITY FOR DANCERS (Recommended to all levels) When you understand the music, you start dancing with feelings. As musicians, Claudio & Virginia love to teach the importance of being musical by recognizing Accents and Pulses for Tango, Vals and Milonga.     SATURDAY: February 27    12:1:30 “DIVO DIVA” / EMBELLISHMENTS AND TECHNIQUE FOR MEN AND WOMEN (Intermediate/Advanced) With the right technique applied to the embellishments you will control your center and incorporate new ways to dance without interfering your partner´s balance.   1:45- 3:15 “STEP AWAY YOUR AXIS” / COLGADAS & VOLCADAS (High-Intermediate/Advanced) To deliver a proper Colgada/Volcada it is important to have a clear understanding of being on axis and out-of-axis, a good posture and preparation.  3:30-5:00  TANGO MILONGUERO VS TANGO SALON (Intermediate/Advanced) Master the dance floor and understand the characteristics of each style with the most distinguished figures and precise musicality for different orchestras.  This class will allow you to choose the style you prefer for your dance.   We will explain why step size matters!!!   Milonga Amore on that Saturday and of course dance exhibition. We may even have the Thursday milonga. It will be a full tango weekend. Yeahhhhhh DETAILS: Each workshop 1.5hr. $30.00 for each or $25.00 if prepaid before or on Sunday, February 21st. Privates available: $100 (for one or two people) plus (studio fee). They are going to be here for only four days.
